FAQS

Can I also book rafting/tubing via telephone?
» No. It is not possible to book via telephone. You can use our booking system, which can be found under “Online booking” or via www.kanupark-buchung.de, to make a definite reservation for a rafting or tubing tour and to order vouchers and merchandise.

Can vouchers be redeemed via the booking system?
» Yes. When booking, you are given the option of entering voucher numbers, which are printed on our gift vouchers. The value will then be deducted from the total.

» Please note that you must hand over the vouchers when registering!

Where can I purchase vouchers?
» Our vouchers can be purchased via our booking system by selecting “Buy vouchers”, from us directly at the Kanupark or in the KANU Wildwasser Terrace restaurant, and at the tourist information offices in Markkleeberg (Rathausstrasse 22) and Leipzig (Katharinenstraße 8).

How long are vouchers valid for?
» As required by law, the vouchers sold by us directly are valid for three full years following the date of purchase. Please note our season times.

Can vouchers from Ticketgalerie/eventim be redeemed online?
» Yes. To do this, please use the voucher number printed on your voucher (TG2012, TG2013, TG2014). Vouchers without a corresponding number and those numbered TG2010/TG2011 can no longer be redeemed.

» Please note that you must hand over the vouchers when registering!

The booking system is not displaying any more free places. Is it possible to book places anyway?
» If the booking system no longer shows any free places, then we are fully booked. However, on request we will try to add individuals to existing group bookings.

Can I just drop by for rafting without having booked?
» It is also possible to turn up at the ticket office on the day. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to participate. Once we have reached our maximum capacity, it is not possible to admit anyone else.

What do I have to bring with me for the rafting activities?
» Flip-flops, swimwear, a towel, a T-shirt, toiletries, if necessary old glasses and a strap for your glasses if you are unable to participate without wearing glasses (at your own risk), booking confirmation and, if applicable, any vouchers.

How many people fit in a rafting boat?
» Our standard boats hold nine guests and one rafting guide. You will be assigned a boat once you have arrived.

I didn’t receive an email confirmation after booking.
» If you log in to our booking system again, you will see a copy of the booking confirmation under “Show email inbox”. It’s possible that the original email ended up in your spam folder or that there was a mistake in the email address you provided, which would prevent the email from arriving. If you can’t find anything under “Show bookings” in this inbox either, then your booking was unsuccessful. Please check under “My reservations”. If you find an incomplete booking there, you can simply complete this booking. Otherwise you will have to make a new booking.     

How can vouchers and bookings be paid for?
» As of 1 January 2014, we only accept payment in advance. You will therefor receive your invoice via email right after booking.
