Information for guests with disabilities

The Canoe Park Markkleeberg also allows people with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the white-water rafting activities. For deaf visitors, for example, we have a video with the rafting instructions given in sign language.

Those who would like to enjoy some white water fun at the Kanupark and are partially sighted, blind, deaf, mute or physically limited, should first contact the Kanupark directly to discuss the different services available: business@kanupark-markkleeberg.com

The Kanupark also has disabled access for spectators: Wheelchair users can get to the White Water Terrace via an access ramp, from where they can watch what’s going on in the white water channel.

To make it easier to get here, you can use the disabled parking spaces on the road “Bootssteig” just to the south of the Kanupark. From there, access doesn’t involve any significant slopes.
